The ensemble has truly earned the distinction of “the world’s most famous brass group.” Pre-concert conversation at 3:30. Founded in 1970, Canadian Brass was the first brass ensemble to take the main stage at the venerable Carnegie Hall, and also the first from the West to perform in the People’s Republic of China. Masters of concert programming, the group has developed a uniquely engaging stage presence and rapport with audiences. Doors open at 3:00 and the pre-concert conversation will start at 3:30.
