Every Wednesday @ 9:30 & 10:30 AM: “Budding Bookworms” Preschool Storytime with Miss Maribeth. Join us for books, songs, activities & craft! Storytime has been busy! Starting April 6, every Wednesday, we'll have two storytimes at 9:30 am and 10:30 am. We'll read the same books and do the same activity. You pick which time to join us for books, songs, activities & craft. On April 20, Denise Logue and Allison Ohline from Cocalico School District will join us for storytime to read a book about going to school! They'll also share information with parents about upcoming kindergarten registration and other early learning opportunities. On April 27, we'll have Hero Storytime with the Smokestown Fire Company. During Superhero week, we encourage families to talk to children about “everyday heroes” in our community! Join us for exciting stories, songs, fingerplays, craft, and a tour of the fire engine. Children can come dressed as their favorite community hero. On May 18, Sharky for Wheatland Federal Credit Union will read stories relating to making, saving and sharing money. Children will hear about pennies, dimes, dollars and spending carefully. Beginning financial literacy at a young age is sure to assist youth of today build a solid financial tomorrow.
