Description

Would you like to be able to say, “I eat what I grow year-round because I CAN?” Would you like to be able to say, “I eat what I grow year-round because I CAN?” Naturalist Lisa J. Sanchez can say this and will guide you through the steps of proper canning and food preservation techniques. Don’t be afraid of the water bath or pressure canner as this process is demonstrated for you. Also learn to freeze, dehydrate, and pickle your fresh produce. The library will provide a few local items to sample. For adults/older teens (15 and up). Please register, so we know how much food to bring!
