Fortunately, the closures are not expected to affect the morning commutes.
The Exit 3 off-ramp (Mile Square Road) will close at 11 p.m. on Wednesday and re-open by 5 a.m. on Thursday. Drivers should follow the posted detour to Exit 2 (Yonkers Ave. - Raceway).
The Exit 4 off-ramp (Cross County Pkwy - Mile Square Rd.) will close at 11 p.m. on Thursday and re-open by 5 a.m. Friday. Drivers should follow the posted detour to Exit 3.
Variable message signs will be activated ahead of the work zone to alert drivers of the closures and detours.
