If you get seasick, please bring the pillsItinerary:DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN ANCHORAGE We’ll meet at the hotel in Salt Lake City, get to know one another, and have a walk around the city. We’ll take a stroll around the main streets and pay a visit to the Capitol, which is strikingly similar to Washington’s, where we’ll watch the sunset and take in the panorama of the city. A night in the hotel. DAY 2 - MATANUSKA GLACIER HIKE We’ll leave early in the morning for Yellowstone National Park. We’ll be traveling for a long time on Utah’s hilly roads. Along the route, we’ll stop at the charming town of Jackson Hole for a coffee break before continuing on to some of the most scenic vistas along the Snake River and the Grand Teton mountain range. We will arrive in Yellowstone in the evening and check into the lodge. -> Trail distance – 1- 4 miles, height difference 500ft. DAY 3 - FLYING OVER DENALI NATIONAL PARK The Norris Geyser Basin will be our first stop in Yellowstone Park, where we’ll view a massive cluster of unusual geysers and thermal springs. ❗️Fun fact: Yellowstone is home to two-thirds of the world’s geysers. Then we’ll head to the breathtaking Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, where we’ll stop at many overlooks, including the iconic Artist Point and Inspiration Point, and hike almost to the canyon’s bottom to see the stunning 308-foot Lower Yellowstone Falls. We will head back to the lodge for the night. -> Trail distance – 7 – 10 miles, height difference 700ft. DAY 4 - JOURNEY ALONG THE GLACIAL NIKE RIVER Today, we’ll see some of Yellowstone’s most popular sights, including the world’s most famous geyser Old Faithful, the Morning Glory Hot Spring, and a swarm of other geysers in the upper and middle pools. We’ll also see Grand Prismatic Spring, the United States’ largest hot spring, in all of its colorful glory. The best view is from a high observation deck, which we’ll stop by on our way to Fairy Falls, which is home to curious ravenous chipmunks. This day will be full of spectacular sights and unforgettable emotions! We will head back to the lodge for the night. -> Trail distance – 7 – 10 miles, height difference 500ft. DAY 5 - VIEW TRAIN AND KENAI FJORDS NATIONAL PARK CRUISE Today will be an exciting day in Grand Teton National Park. We’ll stroll the most magnificent trails around the picturesque lake, swim, and have a picnic if the weather permits. The journey will then continue along another lake to a beautiful waterfall and a clifftop observation deck with the best views of the park’s snow-capped mountain peaks. We will head back to the lodge for the night. -> Trail distance – 7 – 10 miles, height difference 1000ft. DAY 6 - A WALK AROUND ANCHORAGE AND DEPARTURE Return to Salt Lake City. On the way back, we’ll see the waterfall Mesa Falls, Idaho, and have lunch in the picturesque town of Idaho Falls. You can fly home after 9 pm on this day.
