Here are the top 3 stories today in Buffalo: On Tuesday, Buffalo Public Schools officials denied allegations that engineers followed an incorrect procedure for taking lead samples in school water systems. The Urban Think Tank and We the Parents held a news conference Tuesday morning to discuss the allegations. School officials stated that they will be taking allegations seriously, but also insisted that proper protocol and procedure were followed in the sampling process. (Buffalo News) The Buffalo Wine Festival will return to the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center this Saturday, Apr. 23! The festival attracts thousands of people every year, giving them the opportunity to sample wines from wineries across the region and speak with vintners about their products.
