May 12th (6pm - 9pm): Special Needs Financial Planning; PLANNING FOR TWO GENERATIONS Presented by Cynthia Haddad, CFP®, ChSNC® and Author, The Special Needs Planning Guide, Second Edition.
Special Needs Planning is Planning for TWO Generations as it incorporates planning for your child's supports beyond your own lifetime. The process begins by identifying your child's stage on the Special Needs Planning Timeline. The Timeline highlights the various planning pressure points to be aware of when changes to your child's benefits, along with legal and financial issues arise. The primary focus of the presentation is to help parents avoid common mistakes in their own planning. We will also discuss the potential role of an ABLE account in planning for your child.
June 16th (6pm - 9pm): Internet Safety; Followed By our Annual Meeting and Election of Officers. See the April Newsletter here
