Update, 6:42 p.m. GREENWICH, CT — The roadway at 29 Perryridge Road in Greenwich is now open, according to an update from the Greenwich Police Department. The area had been closed for most of the day because of a water main break. Original story A water main break occurred on Perryridge Road near Greenwich Hospital Wednesday morning, according to the Greenwich Police Department. Police tweeted about the incident at 10:30 a.m., and said the roadway is closed at 29 Perryridge Road. There are no issues at the hospital at the moment, and access to the facility is not affected. Police are asking motorists to use alternate routes while the issue is repaired.
