Gunshot Fired Into Cranston Apartment

CRANSTON, RI — Two people are in custody in connection to a shooting Tuesday at a Cranston apartment, according to police. Police said someone shot a gun into an apartment at Riverbend Apartments on Dyer Avenue, following an altercation. No injuries were reported. Cranston police said they were looking for a vehicle possibly connected to the shooting. Providence police found that vehicle and took an adult and a juvenile into custody. Police have not released the suspects' names.
