Description
CONCORD, NH — Three vehicles, including an SUV that rolled over, crashed on North State Street on Wednesday.
Concord police were sent to a report of a crash with entrapment near Engel and Lake streets around 10:30 a.m. When the first officers arrived, they found three vehicles involved in the crash — a Chevrolet Traverse that flipped and had two women trapped inside, a Chevrolet Malibu with front-end damage, and a Subaru Forester with minor damage. A fourth vehicle was caught in between the three vehicles but was not damaged.
More officers were requested to close the roadway and divert traffic from Hutchins Street on the north side while turning traffic around on the south side of the street.
Firefighters and EMTs arrived and removed the two women from the SUV. They were taken to Concord Hospital.
The woman who was driving the Malibu was questioned about the crash while the driver of the Forester filled out paperwork and was able to drive her vehicle away from the area.
The roadway was closed for several hours while police waited for tow trucks to arrive and remove two of the vehicles. A single lane opened at 2:45 p.m.
One driver has been charged.
