MUNDELEIN, IL —RISE Mundelein will celebrate the opening of its consumption lounge Wednesday. The dispensary, at 1325 Armour Boulevard in Mundelein, will get the party started early, with a grand opening celebration starting at 8 a.m. and continuing until 10 p.m. There will be a live DJ, food trucks, a Mario Kart tournament, exclusive deals and raffle prizes. The grand opening celebration and opening of the consumption falls on April 20, or 4/20, which has long been celebrated by marijuana enthusiasts as a holiday and day for weed smokers to get high.
