Description

MANSFIELD, MA — One extraordinary concern during the stay-at-home and social distancing orders associated with the new coronavirus health crisis has been the isolation of those suffering from domestic violence and sexual abuse. In Mansfield, New Hope, Inc. has resources available to anyone who lives in fear of abuse, or has suffered from physical or emotional abuse. New Hope Inc. had adapted its response based on the coronavirus restrictions and guidelines. "The important thing to know is that the services are available," Mansfield officials posted in a statement. "New Hope is here for you even when they can't be here with you. And so are we." Calls to 911 in Mansfield go directly to the Southeastern Massachusetts Regional Emergency Communications Center. Police will respond in an emergency, with the dispatchers having the ability to redirect calls to support resources as required.
