San Joaquin Valley Homes is currently seeking to hire a Security Coordinator to manage surveillance at various construction job site locations, mainly in Tulare and Kings Counties.
The Security Coordinator will patrol targeted construction site premises and serve as a visible deterrent to crime, ensuring the security and safety of the site. The candidate must have a clean driving record and be willing to work nights and weekends.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for detecting suspicious activities, including vandalism and theft
• Monitor surveillance cameras and equipment
• Monitor job site buildings, equipment, and access points
• Prepare and submit activity reports and incident reports
• Adhere to all company service and operating standards
• Perform other duties as required
• Contact Police and SJV Management immediately when a theft or act of vandalism is observed
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality
• Ability to remain calm and professional while on duty
• Good observation skills, strong ethics, and integrity
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be age 18 or older
• Must possess clean driving history with DMV
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Good understanding of legal guidelines for security and public safety.
• Trained in First Aid and self-defense
POSITION: Temp to Hire
STARTING PAY: $20.00-25.00/hr DOE
HOURS: Flexible 8-hour shifts, rotating 10:00 PM-6:00 AM and 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM, including weekends
