ORANGE, CT — The Orange Police Department is asking for the public's help in investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, on Derby Avenue (Rt. 34) at Birchwood Road in Orange. "The collision was caused by a small, white newer vehicle that collided into the rear of a motorcycle and propelled it into 2 other stopped vehicles," Orange police wrote on Facebook. After the crash, the white vehicle fled the scene; additional details about the collision were not disclosed. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who has any information about it, is urged to contact Orange Police Officer Mary Bernegger at 203-891-2130. Reference case number #20-21138.
