Nassau Police Search For 3 Girls Missing Since Sunday

SYOSSET, NY — Nassau County police are looking for three teenage girls who went missing from the Mercy First facility in Syosset on Sunday. According to police, two of the girls — Janell Nagamuthu and Emya Johnson, both 15 — were last seen leaving the facility together at 8:50 p.m. on Sunday. The third girl, 13-year-old Marcayla Gardner, was last seen by a staff member when she was dropped off for a family visitation at a facility in the Bronx at 6:20 p.m. on Sunday. Nagamuthu is 5-foot-4 and about 145 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Johnson is 5-foot-1 and about 100 pounds. She also has black hair and brown eyes. Police do not know what clothes the girls were wearing, or where they may be heading. Gardner is 5-foot-1 and 127 pounds. She has brown hair and eyes. Police do not know what clothes she was wearing, but she may be heading to Manhattan or the Bronx.
