Upper Elementary Assistant Teacher Oak Grove Montessori School is seeking a full-time Upper Elementary Assistant Teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. We are seeking a flexible, imaginative, creative teacher who can effectively plan and problem solve with a team. Confidence, professional demeanor, and a sense of humor are important characteristics. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and others. Above all, a strong respect for and love of children is essential to function effectively in this child-centered Montessori environment. The Assistant Teacher assists the Head Teacher in preparing and maintaining the classroom environment and assists the Head Teacher with general supervision and management of the class.
