Copper is a beautiful one-year-old male red and white Australian shepherd who will be available for adoption as of the end of the week. He came in as a stray to the City Of Carpinteria and nobody has come for him. He is currently in foster care in Santa Barbara. Copper is a sweet sweet boy. He is playful and affectionate and likes other dogs and is good with cats. He is housebroken and leash trained. Unfortunately whoever had him probably didn’t know much about dogs because he’s skittish about people approaching and scared of being grabbed and dragged somewhere. So he’ll need a little bit of work to build up trust. But he’s already showing great progress! Coppers adoption fee, $75, covers his neuter and vaccinations as well as a wonderful young dog.
