Shipping/Packing Associate Carlsbad, CA 92009 ( onsite) $21-$25hr (Weekly pay) 6 -12 month contract (Excellent potential for permanent) M-F : 7:30am-4:30pm Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision **Please note: This role requires vaccination under current guidance applicable to the company. Job Responsibilities Supports the Distribution process at company, processing shipments, updating Jira and Oracle databases, while interfacing with carrier and forwarder systems. Requirements • High School or equivalent • 2-5 years’ experience working in Shipping ( Packing and sealing goods) in shipping environment • Experience with preparing, packaging, and shipping high value materials • Ability to support shipping domestic and international • Experience with ERP/MRP- SAP, Oracle or similar shipping modules • Experience to work with drivers/ carriers – FedEx, UPS etc customers and warehouse personnel. • Proficient with MS Office Suite and basic computer skills • Experience with JIRA is a plus but not required • Ability to lift 50 pounds • Able to work 1 Saturday a month, if needed • Demonstrates high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior • Demonstrated ability to build sound working relationships with all team members • Ability to access and read emails • US Citizenship • Pass background check Please send your resume.
