hello everyone. I just moved to San Diego a few days ago and I'm looking for people to play music with and ultimately join me on a west coast tour. I've had a bit of luck online and I'm a well-known artist in my hometown of Wilmington, NC. I'm willing to play music with anyone, but I have specific requirements for permanent additions to my band: - someone who plays bass, drums, or guitar - someone who is in their twenties or early thirties who's willing to dedicate time to practice and play shows - someone who is inclusive and an ally. i don't have any desire to connect with people who are not loving. - someone who is creative and capable of writing parts, but who also can play consistently for live shows - someone who can flow with the dynamics of the music - y'know, be quiet when the music is quiet and loud when it's loud. - PREFERABLY someone who can sing some harmonies, but not required - PREFERABLY someone who is in the BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+ communities. i've played with a lot of white dudes and i'm trying to diversify my cast a little bit. if you hit all of the other boxes except for this one, please still hit me up. my main concern is finding someone who is willing to be dedicated and enjoys the music that we play. if you don't want to join my band, but just wanna meet other musicians, hmu! i wanna connect with as many people as possible. if you're already in a band and you have a show going on, tell me about it! i'll be there unless i have a prior engagement.
