At our November Pack meeting on November 2nd, Officer Bailey was present to discuss what police officers do and invited the scouts to see the inside of her police car. Each scout received an orange police officer badge sticker. After Officer Bailey spoke with the scouts, the den leaders handed out achievements and congratulated all on jobs well done. Our next pack meeting is on December 7th where we will be having our first Space Derby. The scouts will custom build their own space rocket and we will see who'll come in the fastest! There will be other prizes as well. We are looking for a location to hold an indoor pack meeting in the future so if you are a business owner that has space for 50 to 75 people safely indoors please contact Cub Master Brian Cleveland at [email protected]. For now we will continue to be in the Pavilion at High Plains as long as the weather stays dry. Service Project / Fundraiser November 14th we will be at High Plains Community Center from 10am to 12pm in the front parking lot collecting food donations for the food pantry. Throughout the week before scouts will be in their neighborhoods handing out flyers for donation as well. Donations will be picked up by the neighborhood scouts on the 14th early in the morning, so please have them outside by 8 am. Please support those in Orange that need your help. Our annual wreath sale will be held on November 21st in the High Plains Community Center front parking lot. We will be there from 10am until 2pm. We will also be selling Oronoque Farms pies. These fundraisers will help the pack fund partial costs for events like our camp outs, rocket derby, and the pinewood derby.
