Learn specialty contracting at a well established company. Radon gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer and a common issue in this are. You will learn to design, install, and adjust radon systems to reduce levels of radon in affected homes and buildings. Paid training on the job! Starting wage based on relevant experience, with opportunity for pay increases as job skills are demonstrated. This is an apprenticeship for an in-demand skill. The right person for this opportunity is willing to work in basements and outside in varied weather conditions, operate a large drill, go into a crawlspace, and climb a ladder. Some plumbing and/or electrical experience is helpful, but relevant skills are learned in training. On a typical day as a Radon Installer you will meet your team leader at our office in the morning to help load the work van with materials for the day's jobs, then drive together to 1-3 client's houses to install or work on radon systems before returning to the office in the afternoon. Full time schedule is Monday-Friday. Weekend work sometimes available but not required.
