Activities Counselors are responsible for creating, organizing, and implementing recreational activities throughout the week. Activities Counselors will run scheduled weekly activities and events and coordinate the appropriate staff to run and monitor each activity and event. They will coordinate with the activities lead to schedule and run activities on their behalf. The Deets (Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities): • Organize and run all recreational activities, daily contests and events • Promote, coordinate, and run special events (e.g., Go Skateboarding Day, the 4th of July, etc.) • Maintain inventory of all activities supplies • Enlist other counselors to help run daily activities, contests and events • Keep track of all prizes and ensure proper awarding • Lead and participate in recreation activities with enthusiasm and encourage campers to do the same • Maintain clean activity spaces and perform necessary maintenance on all activity equipment • Assist with content collection (photography and video) • Develop caring relationships with campers and help provide the best camp experience • Care for homesick campers and inform medical staff and Counselor coordinator • Maintain a positive attitude and arrive to shifts on time • Uphold highest standard of professionalism in appearance and behavior at all times • Behave in a manner appropriate to our youngest campers (5 years old) • Communicate effectively and motivate children, teens and adults • Communicate effectively with parents and all Woodward staff • Outgoing demeanor and willingness to act as an ambassador for Action Sports as well as a role model for children and teens • Other duties as assigned Perks & Benefits: • Fun atmosphere • Set schedule • Access to Woodward Tahoe venues • Guest pro meet and greets • Able to film with our content team • Breakfast & lunch provided For more information, or to apply, please follow the link below:
