We are currently looking for Field Data Collectors to be apart of an On-Call job opportunity to conduct Parking Counts and Ridership Surveys around the Greater Seattle Area. The applicant must have a smart phone and an unlimited data plan to collect information for parking studies such as parking inventory, occupancy, and duration of stay using an app on your phone. There should be consistent part time work opportunities for at least the next several weeks and possibly beyond. Studies may require working early mornings, at night, collecting in rain, walking long distances, and driving to project sites. Requirements: -Comfortable walking long distances or standing for longer periods of time throughout the day (rain or shine). -Own an IOS or Android device (phone or tablet) with an unlimited data plan. -Own an external battery pack for charging the device throughout the day (we have extras that can be used in case you do not own one). -Proficiency using/navigating Google Maps, and/or preferably other GIS collection apps as well. -Being punctual and responsive on the job. If we contact you to confirm you will be on site at the start time or otherwise, we expect a response ASAP. -Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
