Reports to: Site Foreman Job Overview: Local Real Estate and Construction Company looking for a Construction Team Leader to start immediately. This person will be the safety officer and site manager for a major renovation in the city of Tacoma. Skills: Spanish speaking is not required but encouraged Problem Solving Attention to detail Communication Knowledge of Site safety practices and reporting Duties include but not limited to: Liaison Between laborers and Site Foreman to communicate tool/material needs Coordinate scheduling with Site Foreman Leads carpenters and laborers to complete tasks on time. Ensures safety protocols are followed by laborers and carpenters including daily equipment checks, ensuring that the team has proper PPE, checking site conditions Enforcing safe work practices. Qualifications: 2+ years’ experience of foreman/team leader and or finish carpentry skills High School Diploma Required Punctual Reliable Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours (not always required but maybe some days) Ability to work starting at 7am
