The Biscuit Garden is looking for a part time Kennel Technician. We are a boarding and doggie daycare facility looking for responsible animal lovers. Duties include but are not limited to: • Cleaning dog suites, play areas and yards • Feeding dogs according to owner instructions • Keeping water bowls full • Supervising groups for boarding and doggie daycare • Walking pets to yards and supervising dog interactions • Appropriately medicating dogs • Grooming dogs as instructed (washing and doing nail trims) • Following laundry procedures • Following safety procedures Qualifications include: • Physical stamina to be on your feet all day bending, lifting, and scooping • Ability to lift and carry at least 40 lbs • Experience working and caring for dogs (Preferred) • Ability to work part time all year-round including weekends and holidays • US work authorization • Reliable transportation • Must be reliable and responsible Education/Experience: • At least 16 years old • High school or equivalent (Preferred) • Kennel Tech: 6 months (Preferred) • Grooming: 6 months (Preferred) Schedule: • At least 5 hour shifts • Holidays • Weekdays • Weekends We will train you to perform the necessary tasks.
