Malden Sets Return Date For Parking Enforcement

MALDEN, MA – Malden will resume parking meter enforcement across the city, as well as enforcement of resident parking regulations and the street sweeping program, starting Monday, June 8. The nearly three-month hiatus on enforcement was implemented due to the governor's stay-at-home advisory. As the state starts to reopen, residents are starting to return to their jobs and businesses are reopening. Both scenarios require parking turnover to be successful, officials said. Street sweeping, normally effective April 1, was also delayed due to the advisory but will resume Monday.
