ABOUT NELLIE This sweet 9-week old girl is the winning lotto ticket of dogs: sweet, loving, loyal, smart, aims to please, nearly housebroken, playful, good with kids, good with other dogs, likes car rides, crate trained. She’s got a very gentle demeanor that’s rare in puppies her age. And the sweetest eyes you’ve ever seen. I picked her up at 8 weeks old, and my fiancé and I have given her the most love and affection we can. Both working from home it’s easy to play, start obedience, and cuddle. Already she’s starting to be well socialized (as that’s very important for pups her age). We’ve taken her to puppy kindergarten to learn to play with puppies in a safe way, socialized with kids aged 1.5 years old to 13 years old, socialized with cats, gone to a climbing crag, and a skatepark…and she does SO WELL. WHY WE’RE REHOMING NELLIE The same day I brought home Nellie, I found out I was pregnant. I thought I could do both but it’s quickly apparent that I can not. :( It’s too much. BETTER NOW, THAN LATER Aussies have a critical bonding period with their owners (sorry Boulder, “guardians”) that happens before they’re 12 weeks old. So I’m hoping to find a forever home for little Nellie where she will establish a happy and lasting bond with her human. She still has plenty of time to bond with a new family. Her happiness and well being are my top concern. I love this pup. I’ll probably cry rehoming her to you. But know that you’re getting an amazing dog who’s known only love in the biggest way. She’s a tremendous family addition to any home: whether you have kids, other dogs, or even kitties. SHE COMES WITH Her crate, plenty of toys, doggie bags, a doggie bed, her food and bowls, a leash and harness, and all her paperwork. She’s been dewormed and has her first vaccinations. $300 REHOMING FEE Looking at other puppy rehoming posts, I understand there's a standard "rehoming fee" that is common to prevent puppies from ending up in labs or bad homes.
