MALDEN, MA — Four Malden High School graduates were awarded scholarships by the Malden Scholarship Committee. Awards of $400 each were made to the following graduates: Maura Anning, Class of 2020 will be attending Salem State UniversityZarwah Kanwal, Class of 2020 will be attending UMass-BostonFrancesca Seac, Class of 2020 will be attending Regis CollegeBrooke Smith, Class of 2018, will be attending Salem State University The Malden Scholarship Committee was founded in 1997 by then Councillor-at-Large Joan Chiasson. It is sustained by charitable donations and scholarships are awarded annually to Malden residents seeking higher education.
