For 15 years, Live Outdoors Landscaping has been serving the greater Chittenden County area. We do all aspects of landscaping which includes, hardscapes, softscapes, landscape maintenance, and snow removal. We take pride in always meeting our customers needs and goals. Live Outdoors is actively seeking a lawn maintenance Crew Leader to join our team who is driven and detail oriented. This is a role that requires customers services skills, attention to detail, industry knowledge, and other necessary skills to work with customers and crew members. The applicant must be proficient in both zero turn mowers and hydro walk behind mowers. This position also includes Winter snow removal. This is a full time position throughout the winter months. When there is no snow removal work to be conducted, the applicant will be working in the shop, servicing equipment and conduct daily task to prep for both upcoming snow events and prepping for the spring season. Essential Job Functions: Report at designated start time to review schedule with Operations Manager Zero turn operation Walk behind operation Weed whacker and blower operation Pruning of shrubs and trees Cleanup of beds during spring operations Edge beds Apply mulch to landscape beds Fall cleanup of leaves, perennials and debris Load/Unload equipment onto trucks and trailers Secure equipment for transport to properties Clean trucks & equipment General equipment maintenance Requirements: Willingness to learn and adapt, the ability to learn to use and/or operate light motor equipment a minimum of one year prior landscaping experience a valid drivers license a clean driving record a reliable means of transportation.
