Seeking a manager for our shipping warehouse. Manager will be in charge of a 10 member Shipping Department. This is a full time, day shift, Monday through Friday position. We are seeking someone with a knack for managing others and who is good at delegating to their team. We are an established 50 year old company with a 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse. We utilize bar codes and scanners to maintain inventory control and our warehouse software is NetSuite. We ship small parcel, LTL and truckload. We pride ourselves on customer service and seek to hire an individual with a strong desire to meet both our customer’s and our company’s needs. We seek an honest, dependable individual with a great attitude. JOB DESCRIPTION: • Manage the warehouse for on time fulfillments, cleanliness and organization • Delegate pick/pack/ship responsibilities to the Shipping Department members • Schedule and manage warehouse employees • Schedule regular cycle counts PREFERRED SKILLS: • Ideal applicant will have experience managing others in a warehouse environment. • Experience shipping small parcel packages, LTL (less than truck load), full truck load shipments. • Experience with Inventory Scanners and NetSuite is a bonus. • Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
