Service Technician/ Driver

Description

The position involves delivery, pick up, and servicing of portable toilets, wash stations and holding tanks. Service includes collection and disposal of waste, restocking, and sanitizing each unit. Will perform some on-site repairs. The work is conducted in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work unsupervised, at an efficient pace, while maintaining high quality of service to the customer. Driver will be assigned a route and will need to be able to read a map. Preference for a driver that has experience backing a trailer. This is NOT a requirement, as on site training is provided. Duties include: Servicing portable toilets Delivering and picking up units Operating and maintaining weekly service routes Cleaning and repairing units Routine maintenance of trucks, tools and unit parts Working both independently and as part of a team Maintain telephone contact w/dispatcher to receive additional instructions and changes to work locations, etc. Minimum Requirements: Valid Chauffeur’s License Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and self-motivated Willingness to learn to operate a pump truck and possibly pull/maneuver/back up a long trailer Ability to withstand physically-demanding labor including moving and/or lifting up to 100 pounds Ability to work in all weather conditions Desire to provide excellent customer service Must have reliable transportation to work Hiring for an immediate full-time position. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
