AMR Knoxville is conducting a 12 week clinical research study to evaluate the effects of an approved weight loss medication on blood pressure. Qualified Participants are between the ages of 18 to 75 be overweight or obese by medical definition and have at least ONE weight-related comorbidity, such as elevated blood pressure (hypertension), high cholesterol (dyslipidemia), obstructive sleep apnea, pre-diabetes, or type 2 diabetes be willing to wear a blood pressure monitoring device for 24 hours on two occasions meet other study criteria willing to make 5 visits to the study center Qualified participants will receive at no cost all study-related medical care at no cost lab tests investigational medication Compensation is available up to $900 for time and travel.
