NORWICH, CT — A casting company is seeking background actors in the Norwich area for an upcoming Christmas comedy that will air on the BET Network. The film is being produced by Synthetic Cinema International, a company that has made numerous Hallmark and Lifetime films.
The casting call is for all types, ethnicities, and ages to play holiday shoppers, families, cops, and more. Only Connecticut locals are invited to apply.
Background actors will receive meals and have an opportunity to see themselves in the film. Filming will be Dec. 1 to 21.

Hallmark Movie Filming In Wethersfield
Synthetic Cinema International is a Rocky Hill-based production studio that has filmed many movies in Connecticut. "One Royal Holiday" recently aired on the Hallmark Channel and was filmed in in Woodstock, Putnam, and Hartford.
Connecticut is a popular location for movies centered around Christmas, especially those appearing on the Hallmark Channel. "Holiday For Heroes," filmed in several Southeastern Connecticut towns, was released last year.
In 2018, "Christmas On Honeysuckle Lane" appeared on Hallmark and was shot in Wethersfield.
