Hobart Associates - A Manufactures Rep Agency is hiring for a Full Time Order Picker, Shipping/Receiving associate. We are located in the Fairfax district of Kansas City, KS. Hobart Associates is a small business that has a great environment that promotes accountability and teamwork.
Job Responsibilities include:
- CDL-A Willing to train and will obtain license. You must have a clean driving record. We deliver some of the product we sell using Diesel Pickup trucks with trailers.
- Perform general physical activities in the warehouse: Loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually and using material handling equipment.
- Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments.
- Fill and complete order receipts, and assemble orders in shipping boxes, pallets, etc.
- Transport filled orders to and from shipping area.
- Stock shelves and keep stock clean and in order.
- Work at different heights from floor to ceiling.
- Work in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Perform general cleaning duties and any other duties requested by supervisor.
Job Requirements Include:
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to receive performance feedback.
- Great on time attendance
- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs
- Must be flexible to work additional hours as needed
Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check
