$25/hr minimum for skilled general laborers. Skilled meaning you can wheelbarrow up a ramp and dig all day, you can dig a clean trench, you know how to use basic hand tools, you can lift 50lbs or more regularly, and you can work efficiently - and hustle - but always safely. This would be part-time, seasonal, and independent contractor status for now. If we find a core crew that wants to stick around, we can work out other options as needed. We need independent minded, motivated people that are into developing collective skills. Pay can go up with efficiency and artistry. No resumes required, but send them if you'd like - we just need to know what type of experience you have, what your needs are, what your availability is, and anything else you think is relevant. If you have experience with excavation, setting pavers or flagstone, concrete, welding steel edge, stone work, fencing, framing or other carpentry, or driving a machine - be sure to let us know. Also let us know if you have plant knowledge, experience growing food, design skills, permaculture knowledge, or any particular skilled trade. If you've got no direct experience - but are into what we're doing and aren't afraid of hard work, then definitely reach out. We're willing to work to get people up to speed if they're a good fit.
