Small remodeling crew looking to expand. We are a full service remodel company (currently crew of 4) bringing each house and property from usually run down, desperate situations to nicely finished, fully functional and updated. My company works with another investment company where we purchase and remodel all of our own properties. No home owners. Home owner work is done rarely and usually as side jobs. We have steady 40 hour a week work to offer. Our schedule is Monday – Friday. We don't have down time or time between jobs. We are always busy. We offer a challenging but fun work environment where you can learn how to make living spaces fully functional and aesthetic. These skills one will carry for life wherever they go, as construction is universal. We stress learning and doing things right the first time. General Summary and Essential Function: Position 1: Intermediate with at least 1-2 years experience in framing, installing cabinets, trim, doors, decks, fences and other basic remodeling “catchall” type stuff. Position 2: Beginner with at least 6 months of experience doing things like paint, tile, etc. you will be working with someone more experienced so that you can learn. Basic Qualifications: 1) Must have some experience as noted above in the field of residential construction / remodeling. Please provide references and past experience specifics. Ie your skill sets and what skills you'd like to develop more 2) Must be able to work Monday – Friday 7-8 hour days (ex; 8-4 or 9-5) 3) Must be a good communicator, mindful of details and have the ability to receive instruction and then carry out the work 4) Must have reliable transportation 5) Must be physically able to lift heavy objects (such as large lumber, or concrete bags, etc) This is construction! 6) Must possess a “can do” positive attitude, be able to improvise and come up with solutions to problems you encounter to push through to get work done. Must work well in a group. 7) Must be willing to submit to a background check. 8) Must not be addicted to drugs. This excludes cannabis or alcohol though these things MUST be done away from the site and never before work! These things also cannot encroach on your performance. No exceptions. Power tools and ladders don't mix with any substances that alter perception or challenge dexterity. Working Conditions: 1) In, around, on or under houses 2) All weather 3) We work around sharp tools, nails, ladders, etc. You should have appropriate clothing and boots Paid Hourly, with Direct Deposit Weekly (on Friday). We set you up with geo-tagged clock in and clock out on your phone when at the job site. Power and Basic Tools provided to complete tasks, though you are welcome to have your own tools.
