Global Scenic Services is looking for Apprentice Painters to work in our climate controlled factory in Bridgeport, CT. We are looking to train individuals how to prepare custom fabricated structures, artistic props, and show set facades for painted finishes. You will work along side our Scenic Artists, sanding, filling, texturing, and applying primer coatings. This is a great opportunity for recent High School graduates, looking to learn a trade. Global Scenic Services builds Broadway show sets, TV sets, Theme Park artistic props, and custom fabrication for live entertainment. We employ Carpenters, Welders, Painters, Electricians, Designers and Scenic Artists. This is a "working with your hands" position. You must be reliable, show up on time, and willing to learn quickly. If you have an artistic side, we can train you to develop into a Scenic Artist over time. Scenic Artists make sculpture, carving, murals, special finishes, and faux finishes.
