Lunchtime Lecture Every year, one out of every one thousand Americans die unnecessarily due to lack of health insurance. Millions more fall through the cracks of our healthcare system resulting in needless suffering. As health professional students, we have a role to play in improving our healthcare system. Dr Richard Bruno (OHSU Med13, Senior Medical Director of Primary Care at Central City Concern in Portland) will discuss the foundation of Medicare for All and what students can do to advocate for their patients. Food will be provided.
