Then and Now: Discover the unique history and beauty of Vancouver's own Officers Row Spend a day on Officers Row discovering the unique history, beauty, and what it takes to keep the Row looking its best. Join us as we walk, talk and learn through interactive stations along the way. All ages are welcome! Activities stations include: Materials Investigation: What types of materials does our preservation team use to keep the buildings looking their best?Officers Row Then and Now: Officers Row has been around for a long time. Some things are the same and some things have changed. Can you spot the changes?Color the Marshall House: The Marshall House is a bit of whimsical architecture in an otherwise standardized landscape. How would you paint it if you could?Special Saturdays is a program designed to bring family groups comprised of multiple generations to the site and engage with the Trust’s mission through hands-on activities, short lectures or tours, and intentional exploration of the site. This program gives the Trust an opportunity to connect with and feature community partners by inviting them to participate in Special Saturdays that align with their organization’s mission. Special Saturdays may take place at any of the Historic Trust properties, including but not limited to: The Marshall House, Red Cross Building, PFEC, Providence Academy, the Howard House, etc. Sites are selected based on the event’s thematic content. Special Saturdays are free to attend, courtesy of Presenting Sponsor Columbia Credit Union.
