The John Flatley Company is seeking a part time lifeguard to help maintain a high-standard at Elevation Apartments. The part time position will be Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM paying $15.00 an hour. Job Description: We are looking to hire an observant lifeguard to ensure the safety of visitors at our pool facility. The lifeguard will explain safety rules to patrons, warn them about unsafe situations, and enforce policies on showers and proper pool behavior and attire. You will play an instrumental role in maintaining orderliness by inspecting swimming pool areas, locker rooms, grills and restrooms. You will maintain pool equipment, and monitor and record pool logs. Duties include, but not limited to: Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the water Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services Able to act quickly and appropriately to secure the safety of patrons in the event of an emergency Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of customer service Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Prepare and maintain appropriate activity reports Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures Able to follow routine verbal and written instructions Qualifications: Current ARC certification CPR and First Aid certifications Two or more years of lifeguard experience High school education or equivalent Team player People skills Must have a valid driver's license Good safety habits Ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs Attention to detail Positive attitude and dependability About John Flatley Company: Founded in 1985, the John Flatley Company owns and operates office, research and development complexes, retail centers, and apartment communities throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
