KeyNote Speaker Info: Tressa Lacy— author, educator, mentor, and champion for change around gender equality, education, and connection. Tressa owns a business consulting company and volunteers as Vice President of Communications for Undaunted Women, a nonprofit she founded to advocate with refugee women to identify and overcome their barriers to self-reliance through mentorship, education, and financial training.A UWT Alumni, Tressa’s work as an adjunct accounting professor focuses on mentoring young people joining the accounting profession.Tressa is an influential role model and recipient of multiple national and international honors, including being featured as Zonta International’s “Remarkable Women with a Powerful Story” and as a Puget Sound Business Journal Women of Influence Scholarship Awardee.While she anxiously awaits the publication of her accounting textbook and memoir about her experiences as a child lumberjack, she enjoys spending time with her husband and five children and serving as Secretary of the Pacific Northwest Regional Council of the Institute of Management Accountants.
