Learn the science behind pruning trees and shrubs at the Sammamish Valley Grange program, Spring Ornamental Pruning Demonstration, Wednesday, May 4th, at 6 p.m. You’ll explore tree structure and biology and how a tree responds to pruning cuts. Held outdoors at the Grange Hall in Woodinville, the demonstration will be led by Tom Quigley, Grange President and Certified Arborist. Quigley has helped numerous aspiring pruners and homeowners understand how to prune in an informed way. Discover a pruning “Rule” that will let you move forward with confidence. Bring your questions, time for Q and A will follow the formal presentation.
Note, this program will be held outdoors and begins earlier at 6 p.m. to accommodate the early evening sunlight. (If inclement weather, the program will move inside the Hall.) Bring a chair if needed and please dress appropriately. The Grange Hall is located at 14654 148th Ave. NE in Woodinville. Please join us for this timely demonstration and discussion.
