More than ever before we need to intentionally create space and time to nourish ourselves with the healing powers of stillness and rest, surrounded by deeply soothing sounds, so we have the capacity to support our own selves and our loved ones the best way we can. A sound bath provides a safe space and much needed time to slow down and connect with the gentle calm we all crave while running after the never-ending to-do list. The impact of sound bath is similar to a mindfulness practice - it activates the parasympathetic nervous system and gets the mind and the body out of the seemingly endless "fight and flight" state the constant "go-go" mode of productivity demands on us. Studies show that sound bathing reduces stress and helps reaching a deeper level of calm with both emotional and physical benefits. Join Svetla Morrison from The Quiet Mind Designed for a 90 minute restorative sound bathing + Reiki experience. Immerse yourself in the calming resonance of 13 Tibetan singing bowls, koshi chimes and other soothing sounds and sink deeper into a peaceful quiet with intuitive vocalization, Reiki (optional) and frequency massage (optional) offering. Inhale the vibrant energy of inner bliss and harmony you want to nurture in your world. Transmute all the tension and stress you hold in your body and mind and exhale feeling grounded and balanced. Emerge out of this experience feeling refreshed, peaceful and vitalized. No experience needed. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a mat, water / tea (or anything else that will help you to stay hydrated), as well as anything else that will help you to cozy up in your spot - favorite blanket, cushion, special item, journal etc. Blankets and bolsters are available in the studio. *** Svetla is a holistic practitioner offering restorative sound baths, guided meditations and nature-based mindfulness (read self-care 😉 ) practices. She currently juggles growing herself, growing a child and growing a community of like minded humans. Participants are asked to wear masks in the building. Masks are optional when on the mat.
