LYNNFIELD, MA — Lynnfield has 46 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in town, as of Monday. Four people in town have died from the virus.
While spring weather is here, town officials warn residents it is still important to stay at home and practice social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19. The town is following state guidance and recommending that all residents wear face masks when out in public.
The total number of cases in the state is 28,163. Gov. Charlie Baker said on Tuesday, about half the state's nearly 16,000 hospital beds are available for patients suffering from COVID-19.
