TEI VA Chapter April 2022 Technical Session @ Newport News Marriott Town Center The Virginia Chapter of Tax Executives Institute will have an in-person meeting on April 28th that will be held at the Newport News Marriott at City Center. Our technical session will focus on the most recent IRS developments including controversies, changes at the Department, and enforcement activities. We will also discuss tax credits including renewable energy tax credits, and an update on R&D. We are pleased to welcome Lawrence Hill of Steptoe & Johnson LLP to lead our discussion through a variety of IRS Controversy and Tax Credit matters. The technical session will begin at 1PM and conclude at 5 PM. You may earn up to 4 hours of CPE for this event depending on your time in attendance. This will be followed by a happy hour reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages to be served. Dress is business casual. The following topics will be discussed: The Latest on IRS developments & changes IRS enforcement activities Renewable Energy Tax Credits / ESG R&D Update The technical session will run from 1:00PM - 5:00PM, and will provide 4 hours of CPE.  The cost is $35.  Deadline for registration is 3 PM,  Monday, April 25th.
