Celebrate Group for the East End’s 50th anniversary and our beautiful night skies by joining us for a guided evening nature walk! Happy International Dark Sky Week! Celebrate Group for the East End’s 50th anniversary and our beautiful night skies by joining us for a guided evening nature walk! Learn about light pollution, how it effects our ecosystems, and personal tips and tricks to protect our night sky. We will discuss many of the plants and animals at Downs Farm Preserve and how their lives are effected by artificial nighttime lighting. This program is best suited for those ages 12 and up. Please dress appropriately (tick season is beginning!) and bring a flashlight if you have one. Registration is required and space is limited to 14 people.
