COUNTRY BOY BREWING'S BEER CHEESE COMPETITION Come by Country Boy Brewing on Sunday, May 15th, 2022 for a chance to taste and vote COUNTRY BOY BREWING'S BEER CHEESE COMPETITION Come by Country Boy Brewing on Sunday, May 15th, 2022 for a chance to taste and vote on Lexington's and Georgetown's finest Beer Cheese! The event is Country Boy's grand finale as part of Lexington's Craft Beer Week. Donations from the event will benefit the Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm in Georgetown, KY. EVENT DETAILS for COMPETITORS: Sunday, May 15th from 1-5 PM at the Country Boy Brewing: Georgetown Taproom 101 Innovation Way, Georgetown,  KY 40324 Competitors will need to arrive between 11:00-12:00 the day of the event. All participants will need to be set and ready to serve by 12:45 at the latest. Country Boy will provide tables, pretzels, crackers, and plastic serving utensils. You may bring any extra items to accompany your beer cheese for the competition. Please make sure and provide 2-3 quarts of cheese for our guest to sample. The more samples you hand out the more votes you can receive. Don’t run out too early! Our only rule for the competition is: PLEASE use Kentucky made beer, heck Country Boy beer would be fantastic!! To patrons attending: The event starts at 1pm and, as always, our event is free to the public. We will be accepting donations which will benefit our friends at the Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm. This is always a fun event filled with great beer, delicious beer cheese and friendly competition. Lets remember, we're here to accept donations and have fun all while making a positive impact on our community. YOU DO NOT NEED A TICKET FOR THE EVENT. THE EVENT IS FREE!!! The winner and prizes will be announced in the taproom at 5:45 PM. A follow up email will be sent out to all competitors the week of the event as a friendly reminder.
