Food safety training for Colorado Cottage Foods producers Are you interested in producing food from a home kitchen with intent to sell to the public? If so, you need to complete a food safety training per the Colorado Cottage Foods Act. This training meets that requirement and upon passing, provides you with a certificate of training valid for three years. In addition to the certificate, you will gain knowledge in basic food safety to help protect you from liability and your consumers from food borne illness. You will leave with an understanding of what foods are considered eligible under the Act. To help you succeed, plentiful resources will be provided to help you learn the in's and out's of running a small business.
