Sarah's Story:
Art making and poetry were important to Sarah in managing her mental health. She expressed her story through her artwork and many journals. She had a desire to share her story if it would help others who suffer find relief. Sarah loved Batman and the color red. These gave her a sense of comfort and safety. The SOS group chose to use the symbol of the red bat signal. The red bat signal is a special way that Batman would call out for support from his closest allies. SOS Open Studio calls out to those in our community who need support. SOS Open Studio meets once per month for 2 hours.
