So that was a fun convo we had on the PDX red bus out to economy parking late Monday afternoon, 4-18-22 at about 6:30 PM. (Started by me asking what was written on the shiny tag on your white tennis shoes.) You mentioned you bought your shoes in France, and were wearing them cuz you had been visiting Huntington Beach. I mentioned I always wished I could have seen a show at the Golden Bear. And somehow we got on the subject of The Grateful Dead and how you followed them around the country back in the day. You get the idea. So anyway, not looking for a "connection" in the sense of romance/girlfriend. Just found you fun and interesting, and obviously a music geek like me. Anyway, cool to know like-minded people... that's what makes the world go round! Wish we coulda talked a little longer. So figured on a whim, hey -- this'll be a fun experiment: Let's try that craigslist missed connections deal! (Or to loosely use a Grateful Dead-ism, "Can't create a ripple if you don't toss that pebble.") So there ya go. Just wanted to say "hey", and who knows... maybe we could complete the convo some day. Like... meet ya for a quick chat at your fav coffee place. In any case, enjoyed talking with ya... nice way to cap off the trip!
